What do Solana trading bots actually charge?

Fomo charges 0.50% per trade, or 0.45% with referral code iamsmart. Axiom starts at 1%, or roughly 0.9% with invite code sellpump. GMGN and Photon are around 1%, and Trojan is about 1% with 20% cashback. 10% off the fee is the maximum referral discount either Axiom or Fomo offers. The figure that catches people out is Fomo's roughly $0.95 per-trade minimum on Solana orders under 200 USDC — on a small trade you pay the minimum instead of the percentage, which is why Axiom can be cheaper than Fomo despite the higher headline rate. Fomo also covers gas, priority fees and token rent on Solana, Base, BNB Chain and Monad, which most competitors charge on top. Run your own numbers below. Why the headline fee rate can be misleading

At a $75 trade, Fomo's ~0.5% headline rate would suggest $0.375 — but Fomo has a roughly $0.95 per-trade minimum, so you actually pay $0.95, an effective rate of 1.27%. Axiom's flat ~1% on that same trade is $0.75 — cheaper here despite the higher headline rate. Use the calculator below with your own trade size.

At this volume a referral code is worth about $180 a year on Axiom, or $90 on Fomo — both are the same 10% off, and Axiom's is larger only because its base fee is double Fomo's. Worth applying on a new account. Whether it justifies starting over depends on what your current account history is worth to you.

Bot Fee/trade Effective rate Per day Per month
Fomo $2.25 0.45% $2.25 $68
Trojan $4.00 0.80% $4.00 $120
Axiom $4.50 0.90% $4.50 $135
GMGN $5.00 1.00% $5.00 $150
Photon $5.00 1.00% $5.00 $150

Moonshot isn't included — its fee structure varies by payment method with no single published rate to calculate against. GMGN and Photon's referral codes don't provide a fee discount, so their numbers don't change when the code toggle is on.

Getting the discounted rate

The "referral code applied" toggle above models a real 10% off the fee. To actually get it you enter the code when you create the account — it attaches at sign-up only and can't be added to an account that already exists, on either platform. These are the codes those numbers assume:

Disclosure: both are our referral codes, so we earn a credit if you use them. You get the same 10% either way — it's the maximum either platform gives, and every genuine code gives it. Which code you use changes who gets paid, not what you pay. More detail: Fomo referral code · Axiom invite code.

How this is calculated

Fee = (headline rate × trade size), floored at the bot's per-trade minimum where one exists (only Fomo has one, at ~$0.95), then the referral code discount is applied if toggled on — a straight percentage off the fee you'd otherwise pay (Axiom/Fomo: 10% off; Trojan: 20% cashback). Ranked by monthly cost at your trades-per-day input.

Trading bot fee FAQ

What do Solana trading bots actually charge?

Fomo charges 0.50% per trade, or 0.45% with referral code "iamsmart". Axiom starts at 1%, or roughly 0.9% with invite code "sellpump". GMGN and Photon are around 1%, and Trojan is about 1% with 20% cashback. The figure that catches people out is Fomo's roughly $0.95 per-trade minimum on Solana orders under 200 USDC, which means on small trades you pay the minimum rather than the percentage. Use the calculator with your own trade size, because the cheapest bot genuinely changes depending on how much you trade at a time.

How much does a referral code save on trading fees?

10% of the fee, on both Axiom and Fomo, applied automatically to every trade for the life of the account. On Fomo that takes 0.50% to 0.45%; on Axiom it takes the 1% base to roughly 0.9%. 10% is the maximum either platform offers, and every genuine code gives that same 10%, so the code you pick changes nothing about your rate. Codes attach at sign-up only and cannot be added to an existing account afterwards.

Which Solana bot is cheapest?

On most trade sizes, Fomo with a referral code, at 0.45% against roughly 0.9-1% for everything else. The exception is very small trades: Fomo's ~$0.95 minimum on Solana orders under 200 USDC means that on a $75 trade Axiom is actually cheaper despite the higher headline rate. Fomo also covers gas, priority fees and token rent on Solana, Base, BNB Chain and Monad, which most competitors charge on top, so the headline percentage understates the gap on larger trades.

Do trading bot fees include gas and priority fees?

It depends on the bot, and it is the most commonly missed part of the comparison. Fomo covers gas, priority fees and token rent on Solana, Base, BNB Chain and Monad, so those are not charged on top of its 0.50%. Most competitors pass those costs through separately, which can add meaningfully to the effective rate. On Ethereum, Fomo charges 0.50% plus network fees passed through.
