- • Buy/Sell: Quick trading buttons
Rank / TopCallers Leaderboard
- • Every wallet ranked by 30-day PnL, win rate, and transaction count
- • Filterable to Smart Money, KOL, Fresh Wallet, or Sniper categories
- • Target a wallet directly to auto-mirror its buys and sells with your own sizing
Chain Selector

Telegram Bot
The Telegram bot uses commands. Key commands:
- •
/start— Main menu - •
/buy [contract]— Buy a token - •
/sell [contract]— Sell a token - •
/wallet— Check balance - •
/copy— Copy trading settings
Finding Tokens: Discovery Tools
Beyond following other wallets, GMGN's own Discovery tools cover New Pair, Trending, and Hot Searches tabs across configurable windows (1 minute to 24 hours), laying out market cap, ATH market cap, liquidity, volume, transaction count, and holder count per token — enough to sanity-check a token without leaving the table view.
How to Use It
- 1. Open the New Pair, Trending, or Hot Searches tab
- 2. Pick a timeframe window (1m–24h) that matches how you trade
- 3. Scan liquidity, holder count, and volume before opening a token individually
Pro tip: Discovery data is a filter, not a verdict. Use it to narrow down what's worth a closer look, not as the sole reason to buy.
Built for AI Agents, Not Just Humans
The most 2026-specific thing about GMGN isn't a token-scoring feature — it's the Agent Skills Market, which packages trading actions (Market Buy, Market Sell, Multi-Wallet Buy, Limit Buy, Limit Sell with Take Profit/Stop Loss) as installable "skills" that AI agents like Claude or GPT can call directly through a documented API, no custom integration required. If you're running or building an AI trading agent, this is the reason GMGN is worth a look on its own.
Making Your First Trade
On Web
- 1 Find the token
Search by name or paste contract address
- 2 Check the Discovery data
Liquidity, holder count, and volume for the token you're about to trade
- 3 Enter buy amount
Set how much SOL/ETH to spend. Start small (0.1-0.5).
- 4 Adjust slippage
For volatile memecoins, 10-15% is common
- 5 Click Buy and confirm
Approve the transaction in your wallet
On Telegram
- 1. Paste the contract address to the bot
- 2. Review the token info displayed
- 3.
Click Buy button or use
/buycommand - 4. Select amount from quick buttons
- 5. Confirm the trade
Copy Trading on GMGN
GMGN has strong copy trading features. Here's how to set it up:
- 1 Find wallets to copy
Use GMGN's leaderboard or add wallet addresses from Twitter/Discord.
- 2 Add to tracking list
Click "Track" or add the wallet address to your copy trading section.
- 3 Configure copy settings
Set copy amount (start with 0.1-0.5 SOL), which tokens to copy, auto vs manual.
- 4 Enable auto-copy or alerts
Auto: Buys automatically. Alerts: Notifies you to decide.
Warning: Verify wallet track records before copying. High win rate (90%+) often means insider. Look for consistent 40-60% win rate over many trades.
Multi-Chain Trading
GMGN supports multiple chains. Here's how to use them:
| Chain | Currency | Best For |
|---|---|---|
| Solana | SOL | Fast memecoins, Pump.fun |
| Ethereum | ETH | Established tokens, higher gas |
| Base | ETH | Lower gas, growing ecosystem |
| Tron | TRX | Asian markets, low fees |
Switching Chains
- 1. Use the chain selector in the top navigation
- 2. Make sure you have the right currency in your wallet (SOL, ETH, TRX)
- 3. Each chain has separate settings and tracked wallets
Standing Orders and Sharing a Call
Auto Buy, Limit Buy, and Migrated Snipe
Auto Buy and Limit Buy set standing orders that fire when a price hits your target instead of you watching the chart. "Migrated Snipe" goes further — it auto-executes the moment a token migrates onto a new pool, which is the exact window manual traders usually lose.
Callout: Turning a Position Into a Public Call
GMGN App V3.0 added "Callout" — a way to turn a position you're holding into a live, shared call directly in the app. It's the social side of GMGN: not as built-out as Fomo's Feed and Thesis commentary, but a real feature if you want to build a public track record.
Recommended Settings
| Setting | Beginner | Experienced |
|---|---|---|
| Slippage | 10-15% | 5-10% (adjust per trade) |
| Copy Amount | 0.1-0.3 SOL | Based on wallet performance |
| Auto-Copy | Off (use alerts) | On for trusted wallets |
| AI Alerts | On | Customized filters |
Common Mistakes to Avoid
- ⚠ Trusting Discovery data blindly: a token looking clean on liquidity and holder count isn't a guarantee. Use it as one input, not the final word.
- ⚠ Copy trading too large: Start with small amounts (0.1-0.3 SOL) until you verify a wallet's performance.
- ⚠ Wrong chain selected: Double-check you're on the right chain before trading. SOL tokens don't work on ETH.
- ⚠ Ignoring copy trade delays: Some users report occasional delays. Don't rely on instant execution.
- ⚠ Not setting stop losses: Even with AI and copy trading, protect yourself with automatic stops.

GMGN tutorial FAQ
How do you use GMGN?
There are two routes and they behave differently. The web dashboard at gmgn.ai works like a normal terminal: you connect your own Solana wallet and keep your keys. The Telegram bot is faster to start but creates a wallet for you. Either way you use the Discovery tabs to find tokens, then trade from the panel or by command. Pick the web dashboard unless you specifically want Telegram.
Is the GMGN Telegram bot non-custodial?
The GMGN web dashboard is non-custodial — you connect your own wallet. The Telegram bot is different: logging in through Telegram creates a wallet whose private key GMGN generates and lets you export in plaintext, which is a custodial arrangement by any normal definition. GMGN's own documentation confirms this. It is the single most important thing to understand before choosing between the two, and most GMGN guides do not mention it.
How good is GMGN copy trading?
It works, and smart-money tracking is the thing GMGN is genuinely best at. The limitation worth knowing is timing: independent testing documents a gap of roughly 2 to 5 seconds between a tracked wallet's trade and GMGN copying it. On a slow-moving token that is irrelevant. On a fast launch it means a materially worse entry price than the wallet you are copying. Size your expectations accordingly.
Does the GMGN referral code give a fee discount?
No, and this is where GMGN differs from Axiom and Fomo. GMGN code "Q5SMwcTu" is a real, working referral code and free to use, but it does not reduce the trading fee for the person signing up — GMGN's referral program rewards the referrer rather than discounting the new user. If a fee discount is what you are after, Axiom code "sellpump" and Fomo code "iamsmart" each take 10% off trading fees. We would rather tell you that than imply a discount that is not there.
Which chains does GMGN support?
GMGN is multi-chain, with a chain selector in the interface for switching between them, which is one of its real advantages over Solana-only terminals. Its distinctive tools sit on top of that: the Rank and TopCallers leaderboards, the Discovery tabs for new pairs and trending tokens, auto buy, limit buy, migrated snipe, and the Callout feature that turns a position into a public call.
