Setting Up GMGN

GMGN offers two ways to trade: web dashboard and Telegram bot. You can use both with the same account.

Option A: Web Dashboard (gmgn.ai)

1. Go to gmgn.ai
2. Click "Connect Wallet" and select your wallet (Phantom, etc.)
3. Approve the connection
4. Use referral code Q5SMwcTu for fee discount

Option B: Telegram Bot

1. Open Telegram and search for the official GMGN bot
2. Click Start
3. Follow prompts to set up your wallet
4. Enter referral code when prompted

Important: Use a dedicated trading wallet. Create a new wallet specifically for trading and only fund it with what you can afford to lose.

Telegram Bot

The Telegram bot uses commands. Key commands:

• /start — Main menu
• /buy [contract] — Buy a token
• /sell [contract] — Sell a token
• /wallet — Check balance
• /copy — Copy trading settings

Finding Tokens: Discovery Tools

Beyond following other wallets, GMGN's own Discovery tools cover New Pair, Trending, and Hot Searches tabs across configurable windows (1 minute to 24 hours), laying out market cap, ATH market cap, liquidity, volume, transaction count, and holder count per token — enough to sanity-check a token without leaving the table view.

How to Use It

1. Open the New Pair, Trending, or Hot Searches tab
2. Pick a timeframe window (1m–24h) that matches how you trade
3. Scan liquidity, holder count, and volume before opening a token individually

Pro tip: Discovery data is a filter, not a verdict. Use it to narrow down what's worth a closer look, not as the sole reason to buy.

Built for AI Agents, Not Just Humans

The most 2026-specific thing about GMGN isn't a token-scoring feature — it's the Agent Skills Market, which packages trading actions (Market Buy, Market Sell, Multi-Wallet Buy, Limit Buy, Limit Sell with Take Profit/Stop Loss) as installable "skills" that AI agents like Claude or GPT can call directly through a documented API, no custom integration required. 1. Paste the contract address to the bot

Copy Trading on GMGN

GMGN has strong copy trading features. Here's how to set it up:

Find wallets to copy

Use GMGN's leaderboard or add wallet addresses from Twitter/Discord.

Click "Track" or add the wallet address to your copy trading section.

Configure copy settings

Set copy amount (start with 0.1-0.5 SOL), which tokens to copy, auto vs manual.

Enable auto-copy or alerts

Auto: Buys automatically. Alerts: Notifies you to decide.

Warning: Verify wallet track records before copying. High win rate (90%+) often means insider. Look for consistent 40-60% win rate over many trades.

Multi-Chain Trading

GMGN supports multiple chains. Here's how to use them:

Standing Orders and Sharing a Call

Auto Buy, Limit Buy, and Migrated Snipe

Auto Buy and Limit Buy set standing orders that fire when a price hits your target instead of you watching the chart. "Migrated Snipe" goes further — it auto-executes the moment a token migrates onto a new pool, which is the exact window manual traders usually lose.

Callout: Turning a Position Into a Public Call

GMGN App V3.0 added "Callout" — a way to turn a position you're holding into a live, shared call directly in the app. It's the social side of GMGN: not as built-out as Fomo's Feed and Thesis commentary, but a real feature if you want to build a public track record.

Common Mistakes to Avoid

⚠ Trusting Discovery data blindly: a token looking clean on liquidity and holder count isn't a guarantee. Use it as one input, not the final word.
⚠ Copy trading too large: Start with small amounts (0.1-0.3 SOL) until you verify a wallet's performance.
⚠ Wrong chain selected: Double-check you're on the right chain before trading. SOL tokens don't work on ETH.
⚠ Ignoring copy trade delays: Some users report occasional delays. Don't rely on instant execution.
⚠ Not setting stop losses: Even with AI and copy trading, protect yourself with automatic stops.
