Fomo Referral Code 2026: iamsmart (10% Off Trading Fees)
The working code, where to put it, and an honest read on what it's actually worth.
What is the Fomo referral code?
Use Fomo referral code "iamsmart" at sign-up to get 10% off trading fees for life — here's how, and it's verified working as of June 2026. Enter it in the referral field while you're creating your account, or just sign up through the direct link fomo.family/r/iamsmart and it attaches on its own. The 10% comes off Fomo's trading fee (about 0.5% base) on every trade you make, and it stays tied to your account once it's applied. That's my referral code, so I get a credit if you use it. You get the same discount either way.

How to use the Fomo referral code
- 1
Download the Fomo app from the App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android).
- 2
Open it and start creating your account.
- 3
When it asks for a referral or invite code, type
iamsmart. - 4
Finish sign-up and make your first trade. The 10% fee discount is now on your account.
iamsmart built into it. Open fomo.family/r/iamsmart and the code carries through sign-up on its own, so there's nothing to type.
What the code actually gets you
Ten percent off Fomo's trading fee, on every trade, for as long as you use the account. Fomo's base fee runs about 0.5% (with a minimum of around $0.95 per trade), so the code takes the percentage down to roughly 0.45%. It isn't a one-time sign-up bonus that expires after your first week — once the referral is attached to your account, the discount just rides along on everything you do.
It's a small number per trade. If you trade a lot, it adds up; if you trade twice a year, it won't change your life. I'd rather tell you that than pretend a 10% fee cut is going to make you rich.
Where to enter iamsmart (the part people get wrong)
The code only attaches to a brand-new account, and only during sign-up. There's a referral or invite field on the registration screen — that's where iamsmart goes. Enter it there, finish signing up, and you're done.
What you can't do is add it later. If you've already got a Fomo account, there's no settings menu to paste a code into after the fact, and reinstalling the app won't reset an account that already exists. If your code isn't taking, that timing is almost always why. I wrote up the fixes separately: Fomo referral code not working.
The cleanest way to avoid the whole problem is to start from the direct link — it carries the code through sign-up so you don't have to type anything.
Is Fomo worth signing up for?
Short version: if you want to trade Solana from your phone, it's the easiest on-ramp I've used. You can fund with Apple Pay and trade on-chain without bridging into a separate wallet first, and the social side lets you follow and copy specific wallets. That combination is genuinely good for people who didn't come from crypto Twitter.
It's mobile-first, though, so if you live at a desk and want a full terminal with deep charting, Axiom is the better tool — I get into that in Axiom vs Fomo. And it's a newer app than Axiom, which is worth knowing. If you're wondering whether it's trustworthy at all, I wrote an honest take here: is Fomo legit.
One honest note before you sign up
That link above is my referral. I get a credit if you use it, and you get the same 10% either way, so it costs you nothing to send it my way. Fair trade.
The bigger caveat has nothing to do with the code: you're trading memecoins, and memecoins are volatile. Most people who trade them lose money. The discount makes each trade slightly cheaper. It does not make a bad trade good. Not financial advice — just use a dedicated wallet and don't risk money you need.
Fomo referral code FAQ
Does the Fomo referral code iamsmart actually work?
Yes. It attaches when you create a new account and enter iamsmart in the referral field, or when you sign up through the direct link. You can confirm it worked because the 10% discount shows up against your trading fees once the account is set up. Last verified working: June 2026.
What do I get for using the code?
10% off Fomo's trading fees, applied to every trade, for the life of the account. It's not a one-off bonus — once the referral is on your account, the discount stays.
Where do I enter the referral code?
In the referral or invite field on the sign-up screen, before you finish registering. That's the only place it goes. You can't add it to an account that already exists, so enter it during sign-up or use the direct link, which fills it in for you.
Does the discount expire?
No. Once the code is applied at sign-up, the 10% is tied to your account and keeps applying to your trades. There's no renewal step.
Is Fomo legit, or is this a scam?
Fomo is a real, self-custodial Solana trading app — you hold your own keys, and the company doesn't have access to your funds. The honest risk here is the trading itself, not the app: memecoins are volatile and most traders lose money. Full write-up: is Fomo legit.
What are Fomo's fees?
The base trading fee is about 0.5% per trade (with a minimum of around $0.95), so on very small trades that minimum is what you actually pay. With code iamsmart you take 10% off the fee, so roughly 0.45% on larger trades. There's no separate subscription — Fomo makes its money on that per-trade fee.
